Sure, I love what you've done for your consultants. You make the business easy for them. Too bad I have multiple chemical sensitivity, then I would be able to use the products. But, it does give another option for my readers.

Thank you for your full review. We appreciate your comments and feedback on your Kara Vita experience.

One quick note is that we have a $99 starter kit as well for consultants who would like to see if the Kara Vita opportunity is for them.

Great post, thank you. I have to say, however, that the candles aren't actually soy candles. They're actually made from palm wax, which is natural and renewable. The makers found that the scent, which is derived from the highest-quality fragrance oils from the top fragrance companies in the world, will permeate throughout the entire candle...top to bottom, whereas with soy it didn't perform quite as well. This blend also makes them easy to clean up any spills with warm, soapy water.

I actually, honestly, have yet to find a candle that I have seen perform better or smelled better.

The monthly fee is quite a bargain from some other companies that I've encountered for what you get. They recently revamped their COTM program where, no, you don't get to choose the scent that you get, however, you're getting one of the top 12 scents every month, so a better chance now of getting something that you and your customers are going to love.

You also have the option to join for free as an associate distributor. I like that! That way, if you want your own business, but just can't afford start up (you are starting a business to make money anyway) you can build your business up as fast or as slow as you, or your finances, would like.

Are there bad points to the company? Of course. There is something with every company that won't suit everyone. Same with Mia Bella.

Again, great review! Thanks so much!

I like your thoughts. Many folks who do Avon lack the planning ability to fidure out what they want their costs to be in accordance to what they expect to make. Also, many do not take into the account that even though the initial start up is low unless you already have customers lined up you will still need seed money that you are willing to spend to build a decent customer base. I differ with the idea of leadership. I prefer to only bring in people that I think will stick eith it or are doing it for their own family & friend discount. That way there is no dillusions of riches immediately. It is not that one can not work for that but focusing on the quality of a recruit will bring you the best success in that respect.

I hope you continue to do well an if you ever stop being an Avon Lady because it is too much hassle please consider buying from my website. http://www.youravon.com/hwalker

I will always supply you with a free shipping code. Just shoot me an email and ask.

I absolutely love these candles. I have to disagree about the votives though, they seem to burn around 20 hours for me, I have used others and they haven't burned as long. I use a straight snug fitting votive holder, not the roly poly or flower pot types. I also have to say concerning the distributor fees; that at least it is just a flat monthly fee, and you can sell however much or little you want and you don't have anyone breathing down your neck for a commission like Avon.

Hi Paula,

Sorry it took so long to respond, I was away for a bit. But to answer your question, I did test Warm Spirit products. I found them to be no different or special than anything else on the market. Plus they were not natural- they may have had natural ingredients, but were not fully natural.

To be successful in direct selling, you need to have a special hook or selling point to make your company stand out. For instance, Jafra has the Royal Jelly line that's exclusive to their company. Home and Garden Party has their signature pottery line that's exclusive to them. Home Interiors and Gifts has a signature collection and Mary Kay always comes out with a signature line from time to time. So unless the company has something different to make it stand out, you will find yourself competing with other companies that has nothing special about their product line either. Those companies usually don't last.

Warm Spirit use to bank on the fact that it was the only bath and body company of color other than Dudley, Aulerale, and a few other distribution type companies whose product line hardly changes. But now there is Inky Loves Nature and Eden Body Works on the horizon, they're going to have to step up their game when these companies of color take off, and perhaps they'll give me a call to rework their program. That's what the Multicultural Direct Selling Alliance is all about.

Hi, Veronica:

I'm curious about where you are on your journey? What about Warm Spirit? That company is taking off. What do you think about their products? There's also one that I recently signed up for: Scriptures (I wanted the scripture on each package). I haven't even had a chance to order the product yet.

I LOVE your blog and what you're all about, by the way. Fabulous!

Sincerely,
